We’re in search of an experienced and enthusiastic Operations Manager to become a valuable member of our dynamic team. As an Operations Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing project flow, resource allocation, and ensuring timely and efficient project completion. You will be a central point of contact between various teams within the organization, contributing to the seamless execution of projects while optimizing resource utilization.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the central point of contact for project management, facilitating the smooth flow of projects from start to finish
- Collaborate closely with project managers, team leads, and department heads to allocate resources effectively based on project requirements and team member skillsets
- Coordinate with the US team to optimize resource utilization across different time zones
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of team members’ availability, skill levels, and workload for efficient resource allocation
- Identify potential project bottlenecks, risks, and deviations from the plan and take proactive measures to address and mitigate them
- Continuously monitor project progress to ensure alignment with established timelines, budgets, and goals
- Ensure projects are completed within allocated hours and deadlines, meeting or exceeding client expectations
- Make informed decisions regarding project prioritization, resource reallocation, and conflict resolution to maintain optimal project delivery
- Gather daily updates from team members, ensuring clear communication, identifying challenges, and facilitating swift resolutions
- Foster strong relationships and open communication with project managers, designers, developers, and other teams to ensure alignment and transparency
- Continuously evaluate and enhance project management processes and workflows to increase efficiency
- Generate regular reports detailing project statuses, resource allocation, project completion rates, and potential areas for improvement
- Lead by example, inspiring team members to excel, promoting a positive work environment, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Desired Skills:
- Possess a minimum of 4 years of experience as an Operations Manager or Delivery Manager in a similar role in project management, focusing on resource allocation and project flow management
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management tools, software, and methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and clients
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify project risks and devise solutions
- Strong decision-making abilities and a track record of successfully managing complex projects
- Maintain an active role in client interaction, facilitating team and client meetings, and ensuring clear communication of project-related information to leadership
- Leadership skills to guide teams and drive project success
- Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is a plus
